The Tapestry in Education

The Tapestry Vision defines "education" as the discovery of what God has created, and how we can co-create with the gifts and abilities given to us by our Creator. The focus is to empower schools, colleges, universities and vocational schools, by encouraging them to build trust, responsibility, honesty and loyalty in our educational systems.

Education is built on truths and facts.  It is our purpose to promote trust, reliability and responsibility, so that the citizens of our communities can have security and confidence in themselves.  They can become people who may be relied upon to lead, take control, and do the right thing in difficult times.  It is imperative that we work toward both understanding truth, and disseminating truth to those who are learning about life and the proper application of those truths.  This includes building a foundation in the basic teachings of Faith, Mathematics, Sciences, History, Literacy and Social Skills.

The Tapestry Vision reveals the restoration of all education to the foundation of truth, whether on a local, regional, national, or global basis.  There is only one unshakably true standard in the world today, and that is the Word of God.  People who understand the Bible typically have a stronger foundation, an ability to stand with integrity in order to overcome the obstacles of life.  The question is, if a person has not heard or been exposed to the truth … how can they make a decision to accept or reject truth?

The plan is to network with individuals in the education industry, to hold forums and seminars, to disseminate truth, and to determine how best to present truth using group networks for all ages.  By instilling order and direction to life both at home and at work, we are promoting peace and tranquility, as well as both physical and mental relaxation.  There are many vehicles and methods with which to educate.  The key is to gather the gifts and talents God has already placed here, and work together to provide high quality educational opportunities that will attract those who desire to learn.

“To know wisdom and instruction, to perceive the words of understanding, to receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, judgment, and equity; to give prudence to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion;  a wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel …” — Proverbs 1:2-5
